A diacert is a combination of dialogue and concert, where artists in a downscaled format perform songs and, in a conversation, talk about life and music. The concept has been developed by Live at Heart’s partner Studieförbundet Bilda and is a much appreciated feature in the festival since 2017. The conversations are led by Magnus Sundell, program producer at Studieförbundet Bilda and journalist.
– It’s a privilege to once again conduct diacerts at Live at Heart, says Magnus Sundell. For many of us, music is something utterly meaningful, even vital, so it’s exciting to share experiences from those who contribute to the music in our lives.
Live at Heart and Studieförbundet Bilda are happy to now present two Diacerts during the 2022 Live at Heart.
Helen Sjöholm & Anna Stadling
After 40 years of friendship, the singers Helen Sjöholm and Anna Stadling have finally recorded an album together: in October “Snö & marschaller” will be released. They got to know each other already in school and the girl choir they both sang in. The friendship has followed them through all the years, although their careers sometimes have led them in different directions. They are both known to a wide audience as well as solo artists and through their many collaborations with other artists, Helen with, among others, Benny Andersson and Anna with, among others, Lars Winnerbäck.
Tomas Andersson Wij
With his voice, his songs and a combination of thoughtfulness and warm humor, Tomas Andersson Wij has found his way to the hearts of his listeners. With frequent touring and more than a dozen albums, he has for over 20 years built his career and steadily increased his audience. This autumn, he will release a new record. Among his other projects is the popular and acclaimed podcast Hundåren, where he talks to artist colleagues about their worst adversity experiences.
